1. How It Works

Potly.Win hosts browser-based skill games. Each game has its own monthly tournament and prize pool. Here's how it works:

1. Create a free account and pick a game to play.
2. Play as much as you want. Your best score each month counts toward the leaderboard.
3. Climb the leaderboard. Rankings are based on each player's highest score that month.
4. Win prizes. At the end of each month, the top 3 players on each game's leaderboard share the prize pool.

2. Eligibility

• Age 13+: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and play.
• Age 18+ for prizes: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to receive cash prizes.
• One account per person: Multiple accounts are strictly prohibited.
• International: Players worldwide are welcome. Prize eligibility may vary by jurisdiction — it is your responsibility to confirm that participation is legal where you live.

3. Monthly Tournaments

Tournament Period

Each tournament runs for one calendar month, starting at 12:00 AM UTC on the 1st and ending at 11:59 PM UTC on the last day of the month. All leaderboards reset at the start of each new month.

Scoring

• Your highest score during the month determines your leaderboard position.
• You may play as many games as you want — only your personal best counts.
• Scores are validated server-side. Only verified scores appear on the leaderboard.

Tiebreakers

If two or more players achieve the same high score, the tie is broken by number of completed games played that month (score greater than zero) — the player who played more ranks higher. If still tied, the player who reached that score first (by timestamp) ranks higher.

4. Prize Pool & Payouts

How the Prize Pool Works

Every time someone plays a game, ads are displayed. The revenue from those ads builds the prize pool for that game. The more people play, the bigger the pot grows.

Payout Process

• Winners are finalized after the month ends and any pending anti-cheat reviews are completed.
• Payouts are processed via PayPal within 15 business days.
• Minimum payout is $5.00 USD. Amounts below this roll over to the next month.
• Winners will be contacted via their registered email address.
• Unclaimed prizes expire after 90 days.

Taxes

You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on your winnings. US-based winners who earn more than $600 in a calendar year will be required to submit a W-9 form.

5. Fair Play

What Counts as Cheating

• Using bots, scripts, macros, auto-clickers, or any automated gameplay tools.
• Modifying game code, browser developer tools abuse, or network request tampering.
• Exploiting bugs or glitches for an unfair advantage.
• Creating multiple accounts to gain extra leaderboard positions.
• Colluding with other players to manipulate rankings.
• Using VPNs or proxies to circumvent bans or restrictions.
• Sharing accounts or playing on someone else's account.

How We Detect Cheating

Our anti-cheat system uses multiple layers of detection including:

• Server-side score validation (scores are verified, not just trusted from your browser).
• Statistical anomaly detection (scores that are statistically impossible are flagged).
• Behavioral analysis (input patterns that don't match human play are flagged).
• Duplicate account detection via IP tracking and device fingerprinting.

Consequences

• First offense: Score invalidation and warning.
• Second offense: Account suspension (temporary ban).
• Severe or repeated offenses: Permanent ban and forfeiture of all pending prizes.

All decisions regarding cheating are made at the sole discretion of Potly.Win. We reserve the right to withhold prizes pending investigation of any flagged accounts.

6. Bug Reporting

If you discover a bug, glitch, or exploit, please report it to support@potly.win instead of taking advantage of it. Responsible disclosure is rewarded — players who report significant bugs may receive bonus rewards at our discretion.

7. Disputes

If you believe your score was incorrectly flagged or you were unfairly penalized, you may appeal by contacting support@potly.win with your username and a description of the issue. Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days.

8. Changes to Rules

We may update these rules at any time. Changes take effect for the next tournament period (the following month) unless they address urgent fairness or security issues. Material changes will be communicated via email or site notification.
